Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines refund and cancellation terms for Sparq electric vehicle rentals.


1. Rental Cancellation

Before Vehicle Pickup

  • Full refund if cancelled before vehicle assignment
  • 90% refund if cancelled after vehicle assignment but before pickup

After Vehicle Pickup

  • No refund for days already used
  • Refund for advance payments towards unused future days
  • Vehicle must be returned to designated location

2. Security Deposit

  • Security deposit refunded within 7 working days of vehicle return
  • Deductions may apply for damage, unpaid fees, or traffic violations
  • Refund processed to original payment method

3. Failed Payments

  • Amount debited but rental not confirmed: Refund within 5-7 business days
  • Double debit: Excess amount refunded within 5-7 business days
  • Contact support with transaction ID for expedited resolution

4. Vehicle Issues

  • Breakdown due to vehicle defect: Prorated refund for downtime
  • Replacement vehicle provided within 24 hours where possible
  • No refund for breakdown caused by rider negligence

5. Investment Refunds

For vehicle investment program:

  • No refund during lock-in period (as per investment agreement)
  • Early exit may incur cancellation charges
  • Returns continue until formal exit completion

6. How to Request a Refund

  1. Open the Sparq app
  2. Go to Help & Support
  3. Select "Refund Request"
  4. Provide transaction details and reason
  5. Our team will respond within 48 hours
